- Interviewers should be transcribing interviews 
- Researchers should never assume that everything is transcribed correctly 
- Find someone who can commit the entire process of the research project so that they can ensure dependability and confirmability of data 
- Hire a professional transcriber 
- Transcribers should italicize or add exclamation marks to emphasize specific words or tones
