The chain uses computing power (often in the form of CPUs and GPUs) to verify the randomly selected 32 bytes. The total time to verify is often equal to the time it takes to encrypt.

Each new node on the network is given a unique and identifiable key. It ties the node to a specific sequence and point in time. A random set of 32 bytes are selected from each block and are checked for accuracy.
