A question proposal in 1Cademy allows users to create a multiple-choice question with correct and incorrect options. Proposers must provide choice-specific feedback for each option, explaining why it is correct or incorrect. To submit this proposal, select the question option in the Proposal panel.

When you learn a new concept, you can share the essence of what you have learned by submitting a concept proposal.

Concept proposal in 1Cademy

When you create a concept node, you have to provide a reference proposal to refer to the external source you have learned that concept from. For this purpose, you should first introduce that reference as a reference node on the map. Then, you'll be able to refer to it in your new node. This way, 1Cademist will have a unique node for each reference, and updating it will update all the nodes that are citing this reference node. Note that you cannot update the title of a reference node after proposing it.

In 1Cademy, the hierarchy of concepts and their connections are crucial for meaningful learning. If a node is incorrectly linked to its parents, or if you wish to propose additional parents or modify its children, you can submit a relation proposal by clicking the corresponding icon in the Proposal panel.

If you find out that there is something that can be edited or improved in an existing node, you can propose a modification by clicking on the following icon in the Proposal panel.

Each choice in a question node has choice-specific feedback attached to it. To see the feedback for your choice, click on the choice. The feedback will appear in a drop down below.

To add a question to the map, users will select the question child node to display the question. A user can provide choice specific feedback for each answer choice.
