The search method searches the whole input string looking for when the given regular expression matches.

The match() method returns 0 or more of the characters that match starting from the beginning of the string.

The findall method returns a list of all substrings that match the regular expression.

The finditer method finds all matches to the given regular expression and returns them as an iterator.
