Health Risks and Consequences of a COVID-19 Infection for People with Disabilities: Scoping Review and Descriptive Thematic Analysis

Using data for diabilities people from over half of the residenetial services in the state of New York, the COVID-19 case rate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities was found to be over four times greater than for the general population in New York. This can be dued to the high percentage of those who live in congregated care settings that caused higher risk and higher report rate because some other data of those disabled people living in community has showed different results.
