 There is currently a lack of studies on the usefulness of gamified task-management applications. Thus, could using gamification to make task and chore management more exciting, allow people to be more productive while they are engaged and focused on their tasks?

A Study on Gamified Task-management Apps: 
- Selection of Gamified task-management app
- Choose subject population 
- Conduct Survey: Compare both groups with Wilcoxon rank-sum tests.
- Post-study Interview

Participants, who felt good about an apps’ reward system, were also more satisfied with its use. Conventional task managers are, however, preferred for speed and efficiency. Based on interviews, it seems that gamified task managers are not more useful than classical ones.

- Low sample size 
- Only 2  apps tested. No control group using a regular task-management app
- Only short-term (4 days) study. Results can’t be extrapolated.
