Canada is increasing awareness about mental illness, benefits of early identification, and effective intervention for youth. However, an uptake of evidence-based practices (EBPs) in SMH is being impeded by systemic knowledge and implementation challenges. To improve SMH, several Canadian provinces and territories worked on improving workplace development, mental health literacy, and implementation of evidence-based practices.
