This theory attempts to explain why people get motion sickness. The theory states that the visual information contradicts the vestibular information when we're moving in a vehicle, and therefore triggers nausea.

Motion sickness is nausea that results from strong vestibular stimulation such as from a car or a boat. Motion sickness is more likely to occur when the movement is out of the person's control, such as being a passenger instead of the driver in a car.
