Sensory symptoms in ASD reference

38-item questionnaire completed by parents in which they indicate the frequency with which their children exhibit abnormal behaviors in response to sensory stimuli. The items regard sensitivity to touch, vision, hearing, taste and smell, movement, auditory, filtering, low energy, and sensation seeking. Low scores indicate sensory modulation dysfunction.

Short Sensory Profile (SSP)

A 125-item questionnaire following a Likert Scale (1 to 5; always to never) in which parents report the frequency that their child responds to items in eight categories: Auditory, Visual, Taste/Smell, Movement, Body Position, Touch, Activity Level, and Emotional/Social.
