Solomon's Severing of Bilqis's Attachment to Her Throne in the Masnavi
Following Queen Bilqis's renunciation of her worldly kingdom in Book 4 of the Masnavi, she retains a singular, lingering attachment to her magnificent throne. To sever this final material bond, Prophet Solomon contrives to miraculously summon the throne from Saba. When his vizier Asaf instantly transports it using the greatest name of God, Solomon addresses the throne as a 'deluder' of those who worship material forms. By commanding the very object of Bilqis's attachment and exposing its lifelessness, Solomon demonstrates true spiritual sovereignty, guiding Bilqis toward complete detachment from worldly illusions.
