Stage One: Reading Task - "Disorientation in hypertext: the effects of three text structures on navigation performance"

In this stage, subjects were required to read the required cards associated with each text form to familiarize themselves with the text. In the non-linear formats, they are asked to browse the nodes until they think they have gone through all of the nodes. Then, they are asked to estimate how many cards are in each set. The number of cards in the set and estimated number from participants were recorded.
