To propose an edit to an existing node: 1) Find the node that needs improvement. 2) Click the pencil (Proposals) icon on that node. 3) Select the "edit or improve this node" button. 4) Identify the edits you want to make. 5) Explain your proposal. 6) Click Propose to submit it.
