Student performance and social engagement through interactivity

Though the quality of the interactions between students has been shown to be high, the amount of interactions is relatively low. In other words, students tended to edit/comment/reply to their own assignments rather than their peers. Additionally, they also tended not to refer to previous comments when creating a new one, showing a lack of interaction with others' comments and opinions. Social cohesion is therefore limited in comparison to task cohesion.
