Study Design of "Baseline Characteristics and Outcomes of 1591 Patients Infected With SARS-CoV-2 Admitted to ICUs of the Lombardy Region, Italy"

Clinical data was collected via phone calls within 6 to 24 hours following ICU admission. Data was collected through March 18, 2020.

Data Collection of "Baseline Characteristics and Outcomes of 1591 Patients Infected With SARS-CoV-2 Admitted to ICUs of the Lombardy Region, Italy"

Patients were grouped by ages: 0-20 years, 21-40 years, 41-50 years, 51-60 years, 61-70 years, 71-80 years, 81-90 years, and 91-100 years.
Mann-Whitney rank sum test was used to compare nonparametric continuous variables between patients with or without hypertension and median age subgroups.
Chi-square or Fisher exact tests were used for categorical variables. 
Statistical tests were 2-tailed, with significance deemed as a p value of < 0.05.
Anaysis was not adjusted.
