Study examining the effects of acute exercise on sensory processing

Lambourne et al. (2010) wanted to see if acute exercise impacts sensory and executive processing tasks. The researchers measured the participants’ sensory sensitivity and their executive processing performance five times during the course of 40 min cycling at a moderate aerobic level and three times during a 30 min post-exercise period.
