Study on Hypertext Reading in Students’ Autonomous Learning
To student the effects of hypertext reading on student learning and reading comprehension, 100 non English majors attending the University of Shanxi Province in China were given an online comprehension test using a modified form of the College English Test Band Four (CET-4) with half of the students reading traditional text and the other half reading hypertext.
