Suicidality Among Gender Minorities

Suicidal ideation and attempts are at epidemic levels for the gender minority population.
In one study, 82% of gender minority respondents have considered suicide at some point in their life; 48% have seriously considered killing themselves in the past year; and 40% reported a lifetime suicide attempt (nine times the rate in the general population).
