Here we mean high-level representation of the music, more specifically, lead sheet, chord chart and so on. 

Here each note is encoded by its pitch, dynamics. As a performance control representation, MIDI piano roll is frequently used.


Sound representation is the most low -level representation from these three. For sound representation spectrograms and waveforms are used.
