Also known as cerebellar syndrome
It is a consequence of disrupting the normal function of the brain that is responsible for coordination and balance. Many cases are reversible but the permanent cerebellar syndrome can occur.

Drug-Induced Neurologic Conditions

Advise patient on dietary changes, increased physical activity, and smoking cessation. 

Manage the patient's modifiable risk factors: 
- Hypertension
- Diabetes
- Hypercholesterolemia
- Smoking

- Phenytoin
- Lithium
- Carbamazepine
- Certain chemotherapeutic agents
- Aminoglycoside antibiotics
- Antipsychotic agents (elderly patients with dementia-related psychosis taking these medications have a higher risk for death secondary to stroke and other cerebrovascular complications)
