Syntax refers to the rules that in charge of the structure of sentences.

Any form of language, whether spoken, signed, or written, is structured around specific components. The two primary components are its lexicon (vocabulary) and its grammar (rules).

Syntax 

A phoneme is the smallest unit of speech that, if changed, alters the meaning of a word. For example, the sounds /k/ and /b/ are phonemes in English because they distinguish 'cat' from 'bat'. These fundamental sounds are combined to form morphemes and words.

A lexicon is the vocabulary of a language, encompassing all the words available within that language system.

Lexicon

Grammar encompasses the structural rules and principles of a language. These overarching rules include both semantics, which deals with meaning, and syntax, which governs the organization of sentences.

A phoneme is a fundamental sound unit of a particular language, such as the distinct sounds "ah" and "eh". Each language possesses its own unique set of phonemes, which serve as the basic building blocks that combine to form morphemes and words.

Morphemes are the smallest components of a language that carry specific meaning. They are constructed by combining one or more phonemes; for instance, the word "I" functions simultaneously as a single phoneme and a single morpheme.
