- prevalence of technical issues with e-learning may be a source of disparity influencing gaps such as the SES gap and racial gap
- most students are open-minded towards e-learning and recognize its benefits 

Hamilton College

A study investigating e-learning among college undergraduates during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown found that a large majority of students were willing to engage in e-learning, reported improvements in their self-studying skills, and were satisfied with online tests. However, 26% of the students experienced technical difficulties during e-learning. Overall, while most students were positive towards e-learning, they still preferred in-person learning.
