Telepsychiatry offers the opportunity of providing higher quality of care from culturally competent psychiatrists, regardless of geographical location, and fosters a stronger therapeutic relationship between clinicians and patients. Additionally, it allows LGBT patients to bypass risk of harassment and/or negative attitude from providers.
