Temperament Groups 

There are sixteen types of combination -  temperament groups.
David Kiersey  names the groups by the letters the in the group in common.

- Extraverts (E): whose energies are directed toward the outside world 
- Introverts (I): whose energies are directed to inner thoughts and ideas
- Sensing Preference (S): obtain information through their five senses
- Intuitive (N): get information through a sixth sense
- Thinking (T):  reason out an answer that makes sense
- Feeling (F): decide on the basis of personal value
- Judging (J): persons prefer an organized life style
- Perceptive (P):  go with the flow and make decisions
