What is Digital Scholarship?

Text Mining

Investigating social structures through the use of network theory and graph theory.

Social Network Analysis

The gathering, display, and manipulation of GPS, satellite photography, historical data, and related imagery.

Geospatial Analysis

The graphic representation of data, most commonly completed through transferring data onto a graphical element such as a chart or graph.

Data Visualization

An exhibition or gallery whose subjects are presented through a digital medium instead of holding physical objects. Digital exhibits can either exist in a physical space or solely online.

Digital Exhibit

The act of designing and organizing the venues through which digital scholarship can occur.
