سوار دین پسر عم پیمبر 
شجاع صدر صاحب حوض کوثر
به تن رستم سوار رخش دلدل 
بدل غواص دریای توکل
علی القطع افضل ایام او بود 
علی الحق حجه الاسلام او بود
منادی سلونی درجهان داد 
بیک رمز از دو عالم صد نشان داد
چنین باید نماز ار اهل رازی 
که تا باشد نماز تو نمازی
چنان شد در نماز از نور حق جانش 
که از پائی برون کردند پیکانش
نمازش چون چنین باشد گزیده 
به الحمدش چنان گردد بریده
ز جودش ابر دریا پرتوی بود 
به چشمش عالمی پر زر جوی بود
تو ای زر زرد گرد از ناامیدی 
تو نیز ای سیم میکن این سپیدی
که چون این سرخ رو سبز ره شد 
سپید و زرد بر چشمش سیه شد
زهی صدری که تا بنیاد دین بود 
دلش اسرار دان و راه بین بود
ز طفلی تا که خود را پیر کردی 
برین دنیای دون تکبیر کردی
چو دنیا آتش و تو شیر بودی 
از آن معنی ز دنیا سیر بودی
اگرچه کم نشیند گرسنه شیر 
نخوردی نان دنیا یک شکم سیر
از آن جستی به دنیا فقر و فاقه 
که دنیا بود پیشت سه طلاقه
الا یا در تعصب جانت رفته 
گناه خلق با دیوانت رفته
ز نادانی دلی پر زرق و پر مکر 
گرفتار علی گشتی و بوبکر
گهی این یک بود نزد تو مقبول 
گهی آن یک شود از کار معزول
گرین یک به گر آن دیگر ترا چه 
چو تو چون حلقهٔ بر در ترا چه
همه عمرت درین محنت نشستی 
ندانم تا خدا را کی پرستی
ترا چند از هوا راه خدا گیر 
خدایت گر ازین پرسد مرا گیر
یقین دانم که فردا پیش حلقه 
یکی گردند هفتاد و دو فرقه
چه گویم جمله گر زشت ار نکویند 
چو نیکو بنگری جویان اویند
خدایا نفس سرکش را زبون کن 
فضولی از دماغ ما برون کن
دل ما را بخود مشغول گردان 
تعصب جوی را معزول گردان

## English translation
The rider of religion, the cousin of the Prophet,
The brave leader, the master of the pool of Kawthar.
In body like Rostam, rider of the steed Duldul,
In heart, a diver in the sea of reliance on God.
Absolutely, he was the best of his days,
In truth, he was the proof of Islam.
He called out 'Ask me' to the world,
With one sign, he gave a hundred indications of the two worlds.
Thus must prayer be if you are a person of mystery,
So that your prayer may truly be a prayer.
In prayer, his soul was so illuminated by the light of Truth,
That they pulled an arrowhead from his foot.
When his prayer is thus chosen,
In his recitation of Al-Hamd he becomes completely severed from the world.
From his generosity, the cloud of the sea was but a reflection,
In his eyes, a world full of gold was like a barleycorn.
You, O gold, turn pale from despair!
You too, O silver, make this whiteness pale!
For when this red-faced one became the green guide of the path,
White and yellow became black in his eyes.
Hail the leader who, as long as the foundation of religion existed,
His heart was the knower of secrets and the seer of the way.
From childhood until you became old,
You renounced this base world.
Since the world was fire and you were a lion,
For that reason you were satiated with the world.
Even though a hungry lion rarely sits still,
You never ate a full belly of the bread of this world.
Therefore you sought poverty and destitution in the world,
For the world was thrice-divorced before you.
Oh you whose soul is lost in fanaticism,
The sins of the people have entered your ledger.
Out of ignorance, with a heart full of deceit and cunning,
You have become entangled in arguing over Ali and Abu Bakr.
Sometimes this one is accepted by you,
Sometimes that one is dismissed from office.
If this one is better or the other, what is it to you?
Since you are like a knocker on the door, what is it to you?
All your life you have sat in this tribulation,
I do not know when you will worship God.
How long will you follow desire? Take the way of God!
If your God questions you about this, hold me responsible.
I know for certain that tomorrow at the door ring,
The seventy-two sects will become one.
What should I say? Whether they are ugly or beautiful,
When you look closely, they are all seekers of Him.
O God, humiliate the rebellious ego,
Remove meddling from our brains.
Make our hearts occupied with You,
Dismiss the seeker of fanaticism.
