-The six attachment styles generated by this interview are: Secure, enmeshed, fearful, angry-dismissive, withdrawn, and disorganized (mixed style).

-Oftentimes in an analysis, the anxious styles (enmeshed and fearful) are combined and this is the same for the avoidant styles (angry-dismissive and withdrawn).

This is an interview measure that is used for children and parents during adoption/fostering processes, child protection, and in clinical settings to observe attachment traits of parents.

There is currently only one interview that is used to decide what a child's attachment style is and that is The Child Attachment Interview. It is essentially a video-recorded interview with 15 questions. The questions are based around discovering how the child perceives their own attachment figures. They aim to figure out how the child views their parent or guardians' "sensitive responsiveness" and "current availability".
