The Implementation of iMPV

  • Therapist trained in Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) as well as CBT and ACT for psychosis.
  • Four weekly one hour individual sessions.
  • Sessions consists of guided mindfulness practices, discussions on mindful responding as an alternative to habitual reactions to voices, non-judgmental awareness of voices, and acceptance of symptoms and self.
  • At home practices for between sessions, facilitated through hand-outs, guided audio recordings, and home record.
