The Metaphor of the Colorful House (Khaneh-ye Rangin) in Sanai's Hadiqat

In Section 15 of the 'Hadiqat al-Haqiqah', Sanai uses the metaphor of a 'colorful house' (khaneh-ye rangin) to describe the deceptive and distracting nature of the material world. He compares the worldly person to a child ('to tifli') who is easily fascinated and misled by the superficial beauty and decorations of a house, failing to recognize its inherent lack of permanence or true value. This imagery emphasizes the poet's view that human attachment to worldly pleasures is a sign of spiritual immaturity and ignorance.
