The Shifting Power of an Entrepreneur

An entrepreneur invents a new smart home device and starts a company. They successfully hire and direct a team of engineers to build the product exactly to their specifications. However, when they launch the product, they find they must lower the price significantly to attract customers who are also considering similar devices from larger, more established companies. Analyze the two distinct forms of power the entrepreneur exercises in these situations. Explain why their power is nearly absolute in one context but severely limited in the other.
