Short Answer

The Weaver and the Merchant

A skilled weaver needs expensive thread to create tapestries for an upcoming festival but has no money to purchase it. A merchant provides the weaver with the necessary thread, and in return, the weaver agrees to pay the merchant a share of the festival sales. Explain how this arrangement allows for economic activity that would not have otherwise occurred, identifying who is acting as the 'borrower' and who is the 'lender'.
