Tracking the Twitter attention around the research efforts on the COVID-19 pandemic dataset of COVID-19-related publications
- 8,163 different scientific publications were collected on April 4, 2020. 3,478 were from a database regulated and updated by the WHO and 6,338 were extracted from Dimensions.ai
- Dimensions.ai API provided researchers with citation information as well – 6,582 publications were indexed by Dimensions.ai with a DOI or PubMed ID
- Out of all the publications and references extracted, researchers proceeded with 6,162 publications in their study
