Traditional Public School

Publicly funded schools that have more independence than typical public schools, usually established by community groups of parents and teachers. Students do not need to pay tuition but spaces are limited. The learning environment is more specialized, with focus on the arts and sciences. 

Charter School

Highly competitive and selective public schools that are operated by certain school districts. The curriculum is usually specialized, with focus on technology, certain sciences, and the arts. Students undergo a rigorous testing process before admission.

Magnet School 

Schools that have the same credential requirements, academic assessments, and management as traditional public schools, except the learning process occurs entirely online, unconfined to strict timings or a specific building.
