Types of Diabetes

Type I Diabetes

Insulin is produced but the body can't use it properly. This is due to insulin resistance. Earlier on in the disease, the pancreas tries to compensate by producing more insulin. However, later on, the beta cells in the pancreas wear out and insulin production decreases.
