Step 5 is where you produce the actual written description. It consists of three sub-steps: (1) draft your description by following your outline and getting your ideas down without worrying about perfection; (2) revise the draft using descriptive language such as metaphors, similes, and vivid adjectives to bring the place to life; and (3) incorporate sensory details covering all five senses so readers feel like they are experiencing the place themselves.
