The review and revision stage of a field study lab report proceeds through three sequential sub-steps: (1) self-review, critically reading the report to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and errors in arguments and data; (2) peer review, in which colleagues or mentors provide feedback on content and structure; and (3) final revisions, incorporating that feedback to polish the report for submission.
