Using Index Cards for Studying

An efficient study technique involves using index cards with a question on one side and the answer on the other. During review, a student separates the cards into correctly and incorrectly answered piles, then repeatedly studies the incorrect pile until all cards have been answered correctly. This method focuses effort on unlearned material, making it more efficient than passive strategies like highlighting.
