Concept
VR as a measure of psychological processes in health
VR can provide enhanced measures of pre-existing differences in individuals’ psychological processes, researchers can use VR to measure a variety of cognitive skills and characteristics with important relationships to health, such as attention, memory and propensity to feel stress. VR assessments can also collect a great deal of data related to the process by which participants perform required tasks (e.g., body movement, gaze direction, order, and timing).
