Wealth Priming Reduces Savoring of Positive Experiences (Quoidbach et al., 2010)

Researchers found that participants who were subliminally reminded of wealth spent less time savoring a chocolate candy bar and reported less enjoyment of the experience than participants who were not reminded of wealth (Quoidbach, Dunn, Petrides, & Mikolajczak, 2010).
