Whitney Relearning Spanish Example
An example of relearning is an individual picking up a previously learned language much more quickly than their initial attempt, despite a long period of disuse. For instance, Whitney took Spanish in high school but did not speak it for 13 years. When preparing to work in Mexico City at age 31, she enrolled in a Spanish course and was surprised by how quickly she learned the language again.
