Why Leaders Should Invite Upward Feedback
In a healthy organization, feedback should move in every direction, not just from managers to employees. People with less authority are often the ones best positioned to point out problems that leaders cannot see on their own. For that reason, managers should actively ask for candid input and investigate why honesty is missing when employees stay quiet.
