Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

This is a behavior change method that is based on the Relational Chang Theory but is directly involved with the development of greater psychological flexibility. This is an alternative to other methods of controlling unwanted psychological experiences by focusing on helping individuals change their relationship with these experiences. Additionally, it focuses on the acceptance of the occurrence and diffusion from stringent adherence of unhealthy psychological events as well as committing to action of behavior that will support living a lifestyle of predetermined healthy values.
