Access to public places and services is a major challenge for people with disabilities (PWDs) in Myanmar. Many essential services, like public transportation and religious sites, are inaccessible, increasing their social isolation. The report urges the government to use universal design principles so that infrastructure can meet different needs. By improving accessibility according to human rights standards, Myanmar can make life better for disabled and LGBT people.
