You can place an image inside a node in two common ways:

1. Use the editor’s image button to choose a file from your device.
2. Insert a standard Markdown image reference that includes descriptive alt text and the image location, such as a local path or a web address.

Write alt text that explains what the image shows so the note remains useful if the picture cannot load.

1Cademy's HyperMD editor supports GitHub Flavored Markdown, language-specific fenced code blocks, mathematical formulas delimited by double dollar signs, emoji shortcodes, link expanders and clickable URLs, and images. The child nodes provide syntax and examples for these feature categories.

#### Basic Usage: ####
*Type **3** backticks followed by the name of a programming language to create code blocks / code editors with syntax highlighting for a given language.* 

#### For example a Python code block can be created like this: ####

To render a mathematical formula with $$\KaTeX$$, wrap the expression in double dollar signs ($$...$$). Single dollar signs must not be used, as they can cause parse errors when multiple expressions appear in the same paragraph.

GitHub Flavored Markdown Syntax

To write mathematical formulas in 1Cademy, use MathJax or $$\KaTeX$$ syntax, which is similar to LaTeX. Formulas must be wrapped in double dollar signs ($$...$$). Do not use single dollar signs. This formatting can be applied in node titles, proposal summaries, reasonings, and comments.

To render an emoji in 1Cademy's HyperMD editor, type its name between colons using the syntax `:<emoji-name>:`. For example, `:gift:`, `:fire:`, and `:eggplant:` render the corresponding emojis.
