Additional Driving Forces of Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
Some factors which are not yet recognized by the DSM-5 may motivate the avoidant/restrictive eating behaviors in ARFID:
- Mental inflexibility
- Need for control/routine
- Different sensory experience of feeding/eating
