Types and Driving Forces of Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
The DSM-5 has recognized three types of ARFID based on the driving forces behind the avoidant/restrictive eating. - Lack of interest
- Sensory avoidance
- Fear of aversive consequences
