Alfred Kinsey
Dr. Alfred Kinsey was an American biologist and researcher at Indiana University who pioneered the scientific study of human sexuality. Convinced that people would benefit from a more open dialogue on sexual matters, he established the Kinsey Institute in 1947 and published the highly influential, large-scale survey results in his books 'Sexual Behavior in the Human Male' (1948) and 'Sexual Behavior in the Human Female' (1953).
