Example

Allocation L at (20, 7)

This example illustrates a potential allocation, L, where Angela has 20 hours of free time and receives 7 bushels of grain. With 4 hours of work (24 - 20 hours), the total production on the feasible frontier is 33 bushels, as shown by point K(20, 33). Angela's share is 7 bushels, defined by her allocation at point L(20, 7) on her indifference curve, IC1. Consequently, Bruno's share is the remaining 26 bushels. This is represented by the vertical distance between points K and L, and corresponds to the point (20, 26) on his profit curve.
