Analyzing a Decision Through the Lens of Self-Interest

An individual is offered two jobs. Job A offers a higher salary and better benefits but is in a city far from their family and friends. Job B offers a lower salary but is in their hometown, close to their social support network. From the perspective of a purely rational and self-interested agent (as defined in the 'economic man' model), explain which factors would be considered in making this decision and which factors would be ignored. Justify your reasoning.
