Antimicrobial Peptide Docking to SARS-CoV-2 S Protein (Closed Conformation)
The receptor binding domains (RBDs) of SARS-CoV-2 S protein and the protease domains (PDs) of ACE2 (pink) are changed because of the peptides interacting with the S protein. This prevents the RBD of the S protein of SARS-CoV-2 from connecting to the PD of ACE2. The following peptides interacted with the S1 domain of the viral S protein:
- Mo-CBP3-PepI
- Mo-CBP3-PepII
- Mo-CBP3-PepIII
- RcAlb-PepI
- RcAlb-PepII
- PepGAT
- RcAlb-PepIII
The following peptides interacted with the S2 domain of the viral S protein:
- PepKAA
