Aristotle's View on Intelligence

Long before modern psychology developed, ancient philosophers such as Aristotle held a view of intelligence similar to Charles Spearman's later theory. Like Spearman, Aristotle believed that intelligence consisted of a single general factor rather than a collection of distinct abilities.
